Dog Days of Summer Group Exhibition

The phrase “dog days of summer” comes from ancient times when people believed that the hot and sultry days of summer were caused by the rising of the star Sirius, also known as the “Dog Star.” The star is the brightest in the night sky and during the summer months, it rises and sets with the sun.

Fables: The Next Chapter by Grace Netanya

Grace Netanya is an artist and storyteller whose art combines contemporary and traditional ideas to create an art fusion that is both Avant-Garde and introspective. She prefers to use mixed-media techniques with ink, graphite, colored pencils and acrylics. However, she loves to discover new mediums and is constantly expanding her repertoire.

Traces of Reality

NOMA Gallery invited six abstract artists from across the United States to bring Ocala an amazing Abstract Show, and they delivered.

“Traces of Reality” features three local abstract artists and three from across the United States. Cindy Vener of the Villages, Carlynne Hershberger of Ocala, and Moises Brador of Ocala are joined by Robin Pedrero of Dallas, TX, Robert Frankel of Chicago, IL and Javier Laredo of Miami, FL.
