Easter Bunny Springtime Sewing

Explore hand sewing at NOMA Gallery by creating your very own fluffy, furry easter bunny!
You will be provided with pre cut and stenciled material, as Geraldo guides you step by step through the process of hand sewing and stuffing your bunny to perfection.
Once the structure of your bunny is complete, you will have the chance to decorate your fluffy friend with paint, jewels and additional materials to your hearts content!
Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door. Please note, the last day to purchase your tickets online is March 31st at 3PM. We cant wait to see you there!

FANTIN-LATOUR - Still Life Oil Painting Workshop

About Workshop:
This class will take inspiration from the French painter and lithographer, Henry Fantin-Latour, famously known for his still-life flower paintings and portraits. Throughout the course, the instructor will lead students in developing general compositional skills and in composing several of their own beautiful still-life paintings. Supples not included. Supply list will be published soon.

About your instructor:
Born and raised in Tallahassee, and currently residing in Lakeland, Greg Mannheimer is a largely self-taught Artist of a Classical bent. Ultimately, his instructors are ultimately the Old and Not-So-Old Masters of the 15th-20th centuries. Mr. Mannheimer was the youngest signatory of his gallery in 2010; the youngest Artist to receive a company scholarship to attend the Portrait Society of America's 2012 annual conference in Philadelphia, PA; has taught classes at various Centers for the Visual Arts, Civic Institutions, and even Smithsonian-Affiliated Museums, and has given private lessons; and has exhibited his work at some of the most prestigious Art festivals in the region, including Mayfaire-by-the-Lake (Lakeland), FAFO's Fall Festival of the Arts (Ocala), Gasparilla (Tampa), and Mainsail (St. Petersburg). Mr. Mannheimer is currently 33, and gardens flowers and vegetables in his free time.

Before the screening of The Never-Ending Story, Grace, who is the creator of the upcoming exhibition "Fables: The Next Chapter" at NOMA Gallery, will be speaking speak about her artwork and the connections it has to the film along with the importance of storytelling and the power of imagination. Her exhibition features stunning paintings that draw on themes of imagination, storytelling, and the natural world, all of which are prominent in the movie.
This promises to be a magical night of art, film, and community, celebrating the enduring power and beauty of storytelling and the connections between different forms of art. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to experience The Never-Ending Story on the big screen and hear from a talented artist about her creative process.

Welcome to our upcoming oil painting workshop! Over the course of five weeks, we will explore the figure in Alexandre Cabanel's painting technique, using his masterpiece "Fallen Angel" as our primary reference.
Throughout the workshop, we will delve into the specifics of Cabanel's style and approach, with a particular emphasis on his use of light and shadow, color, and composition. You will learn how to create a strong foundation for your figure painting with step-by-step instruction.
You will also have the opportunity to work alongside your fellow artists, sharing insights and techniques to help each other grow.
Whether you are a seasoned painter looking to expand your skills or a beginner interested in exploring a new style, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn from one of the masters of the medium.
