Venice Alley as Photo by Greg Nott

The original photo was taken on an overcast day.  I enhanced the feeling and color in Lightroom.  I have copied this photo with a copic marker painting and oil and cold wax impressions as well.

The Rainbow River by Carla San Giacomo

This painting was inspired while on a kayak trip down the Rainbow River during the summer months in Florida. I wanted to capture the movement of the clear blue water, the playful river creatures, gorgeous contrasting colors, and beautiful foliage in this piece. I hope you will be captivated by some of the beauty of this enchanting river in central Florida!

Started the painting using a paper towel and some Gamsol.  A fun excercise in editing out a lot of detail and increasing the color.
