I Love You, But

Layers of meticulous patterns and textures are a recurring element in darker, emotional artworks like this one. I initially sketched the idea of this piece after going through a tumultuous season with a loved one where I found myself having a difficult time compartmentalizing actions of love and actions that caused harm and confusion. The feeling has since peaked and mostly passed.
