This painting, titled **"Soft Contours,"** measuring 46x70 cm, was created in October 2024 using watercolor on Saunders Waterford 300g hot-pressed paper and depicts a nude of a young woman in a kneeling position, based on a reference photograph. I executed the first stage using the wet-on-wet technique, which makes up about 70% of the work, creating soft color transitions and establishing the basic forms for the body and background. After the paper dried, I continued with the wet-on-dry technique to bring out finer details and contours of the body, giving the painting a more refined structure. I applied the final layer with an airbrush, adding depth and subtle tones that lend the figure a gentle and realistic appearance.

When I saw the prompt I knew I wanted to paint myself. I was listening to Deftones and I imagined myself as the cover art.

A woman with flowing red hair, adorned with a red ribbon wrapped around her body, gazes upward with her eyes closed. Envisioning bursting stars and playful comic-like patterns filled with hearts, she exudes a sense of wonder and vibrant emotion.

This painting was inspired by a moment of introspection as I stood before the mirror, seeking to capture my own reflection. The focus on the eyes symbolizes the depth and complexity of self-perception, acting as a window into my soul. As I painted, I aimed to convey the raw emotion and vulnerability found in those quiet moments of self-observation. The flowing lines and vibrant colors reflect the dynamic interplay of light and shadow on my features, while the abstract form represents the ever-changing nature of identity. Through this work, I sought to immortalize not just my likeness, but the essence of my inner self.

While my wife Sarah and I were away on a Baby Moon we in an Intimate moment were inspired to have a photoshoot capturing the silhouette of her beautiful pregnant figure.

In "Light Play," I sought to encapsulate a moment of pure, unfiltered expression, where the light serves not only as illumination but as a narrative force, shaping and defining the contours of existence. This work is a testament to the power of light in transforming the mundane into the extraordinary.

This piece was inspired by the quiet intimacy of a peaceful morning, capturing the softness of natural light and the graceful beauty of the human form at rest. I wanted to explore the delicate balance between light, shadow, and the gentle textures of fabric, evoking a sense of calm and introspection.
