“Self Portrait” was created because I don’t usually find myself making self portraits, but this photo my friend had taken had such unique framing and perspective I felt it was important to capture it in one of my favorite mediums: pen/ink.

The inspiration is in the doing. I am process driven and love to experiment while painting simply to see what will happen.

Everyday spritualsim of humans inspired the set of drawing infused by emotional outburst of questions ravaging human soul , anger and hypocrisy of humans.
Charcoal on Catric papers
The meditative flow of watercolor. Being in the moment and letting go of expectations.

Automatic Drawing; The grotesque gathering of force and essence before the beginning of time and space.

My work with topiary explores the illusion of order, where structure and freedom coexist. I shape with intention, then subtract to reveal what lies beneath. This process mirrors the human experience—a balance between control and surrender. It reflects how we shape the world and, in turn, how it shapes us. In letting go of the illusion of control, we find freedom and peace.

Pandas have a pure heart, full of love. They remind me of the little girl I once was: innocent, loving, and trusting. Every time I look at this painting, I am filled with emotion, remembering long-forgotten moments that are still alive within me.

“Be Still” was part of a series of pieces showing my most precious memories, this specific one showing a beautiful moment with my mom feeding birds.

NOMA is my HOMA For a few magical years, this nationally recognized historic building served as Ocala’s cultural hub for art, artists and entrepreneurs, who gathered to create, celebrate and build community for like-minded spirits. It was the brainchild of Lisa Irwin and we are forever grateful for the memories made there.
Water color using blotted line technique
A couple symbolizing a modern Adam and Eve which serves as a "psychological mirror," exploring the interplay of contrasting emotions like fear and joy, anxiety and calm. Shapes are intentionally distorted and interwoven, creating dynamic and shifting forms. I wanted to create a visually and emotionally complex work that invites viewers to engage in a deeply personal and reflective experience. Challenging viewers to see beyond the surface and embrace the fluidity of experience.
Black Ink on white non-acid paper
Through my work and art, I seek to capture this intimate, almost mystical exchange. Braiding is more than preparation—it is meditation, devotion, and art. The braiders, the horses, the night—together, they form a timeless ritual, a dance where craftsmanship meets reverence, and where the simple act of braiding becomes a bridge between worlds.

Embracing your own inner fire and allowing it to transform you. To fully lean into your passions and allow it to ignite your soul.

This piece is inspired by human and animal connections. The chimpanzee, with its thoughtful pose, evokes a sense of contemplation and introspection, challenging the viewer to reflect on the shared emotional experiences between humans and animals. The choice of green is intentional, symbolizing preservation, harmony, and a connection to nature. The painterly background reflects the dynamic energy of the natural world, while the chimp’s stillness creates pause and connection with the viewer. The reference for this piece was found in an artist’s reference photo group on Facebook, and I would like to acknowledge the photographer, Steven Gotz for capturing this face-face moment.
Derwent Inktense Pencils and Blocks
In this series, I incorporated narratives as the conceptual foundation for each piece. In this process, the message is written and immediately covered in black paint. This piece’s Hidden Words allude to threats to freedom and censorship of creativity.
Acrylic on paper
“Alaria” was inspired by a short story I had written about a fantasy city by that name. As a writer, I enjoy creating images of places I come up with in my head for my stories.
Etching
I saw a video on Instagram of a girl screaming and thought how it feels when you can't let out what's going on inside your head.
Alcohol markers and acrylic markers
i am worth my weight in Gold
Things i offer can’t be bought
can’t be sold
The beauty that lies within
wasn't built upon sin
As he cleans and prunes me
plucking away at every negative thing anyone's ever had to say
making me oh.. so..holy
like a magnolia in June
a flower blooms
revealing beauty that truly truly
you’d have to find God to see
