Raul Colmenares

Born in 1994, Raul Colmenares spent his formative years studying in Ocala, Jacksonville, Miami and New York, honing his skills in drawing and painting. He has garnered numerous awards and regularly showcases his work  across the US East Coast. Currently he resides in Ocala Florida.

Raul’s talent has been recognized with several accolades. In may of 2018 he was awarded the Artist Spotlight Award at the College of Central Florida. The following year, he clinched the Best of Show prize at the Emerging Artist Competition hosted by the city of Ocala.

Since 2019 and a hiatus from participating on public events, due to covid, Raul has exhibited again for the FAFO art fair in October of 2023, Earning an emerging artist award and currently working on his first solo show for June of 2024.
